Greenwich Concours show coming next month, 06-03-16

Greenwich, Connecticut, losts of early history here, not only for the State, but some interesting auto history…..

The 2016 Greenwich Concours d’Elegance will celebrate its 20th anniversary with three days of programs on June 3-5. Concours Americana is scheduled for Saturday, June 4 and Concours International for Sunday, June 5, both 10am to 5pm, at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Vintage Sports Cars Auction scheduled – Amelia Island

This auction is getting closer and closer – on March 10th, 2016….

The Bonhams Amelia Island 2016 Auction will be held Thursday, March 10 at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club on Amelia Island, Florida. More than 80 automobiles will be offered at Bonhams’ 2nd annual sale held during the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance Week, in addition to selected automobilia.

The Cavallino Classic Sports Sunday 2016 was held January 25th at Mar-a-Lago, the Marjorie Merriweather Post mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. The last event of the larger Palm Beach Cavallino Classic, the one-day event featured American, Italian, French, British and German classics on the show field at Mar-a-Lago.

The Trident Sports Car – have you ever heard of it

The Trident had a very limited manufacture, and only a very few are believed to still be around, it would be nice to find more pictures….

Trident Cars were based in Turret Lane and between 1966 and 1977 and over that decade produced either 85 or 130 cars – depending on which figures you accept. Some of its vehicles were sold as kits for the owners to put together.
