This weekend, The Racer’s Group (TRG) is at Barber Motorsports Park with drivers Jason Alexandridis and Derek DeBoer for the Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of Alabama presented by Porsche. The duo will share the No. 09 BRM/Rebounderz/Racing for Cancer Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, with DeBoer taking the wheel for Friday’s race and Alexandridis racing on Saturday.

Latest updates confirmed that the brand has registered for a trademark name – the AeroBlade. As the name is self-explanatory, it refers to brand new aerodynamics that they may have developed for all their future supercars. With the years rapidly rolling by, car makers are gearing up for the near future where cars are expected to drive on their own besides supporting all latest gadgets and possibly use electric motors to be on the move.
Well, I guess it was bound to happen, James Bond and an electric Aston Martin, who would have thought? But that is progress…..
The comments set out Mr. Palmer’s vision for the future of Aston Martin as plunging costs for electric cars and ever-tightening pollution rules eat away at the economics of traditional engines. He said it is inevitable that the entire industry will shift over to electricity, if only because it’s the most plausible way to deliver the power drivers expect.
I wonder how many James Bond cars are there, how many have been wrecked and disposed of during the filming of these movies….

More and more sports cars are becoming expensive to produce, and therefore expensive for the general public…
