Latest updates confirmed that the brand has registered for a trademark name – the AeroBlade. As the name is self-explanatory, it refers to brand new aerodynamics that they may have developed for all their future supercars. With the years rapidly rolling by, car makers are gearing up for the near future where cars are expected to drive on their own besides supporting all latest gadgets and possibly use electric motors to be on the move.

Electric Aston Martin for James Bond

Well, I guess it was bound to happen, James Bond and an electric Aston Martin, who would have thought? But that is progress…..

The comments set out Mr. Palmer’s vision for the future of Aston Martin as plunging costs for electric cars and ever-tightening pollution rules eat away at the economics of traditional engines. He said it is inevitable that the entire industry will shift over to electricity, if only because it’s the most plausible way to deliver the power drivers expect.

James Bond Aston Martin Cars

I wonder how many James Bond cars are there, how many have been wrecked and disposed of during the filming of these movies….

“Aston Martin has displayed some of James Bond’s most famous cars in London’s Covent Garden, celebrating the great British brand’s half century with Bond. These models were meant for the Aston driver looking for a slightly larger GT car, and they sported a 4.0-liter inline-six. This one also has an automatic transmission and 40,000 miles indicated on the odometer. Unfortunately, it has been sitting in a barn in Surrey, England, since 1980.”

Talk about a limited run and what it is made of…..

“Only 100 of these £250,000 ($384,000 or AU$490,000) monsters will make their way on to the road when they’re delivered this autumn. Having spent some time with one, it’s hard to imagine Aston will have any trouble selling all 100 rather quickly — it’s a truly special piece of kit. Just listen to it.”

Aston Martin and a cheap model

More and more sports cars are becoming expensive to produce, and therefore expensive for the general public…

“Jenkins said that rare sports cars will continue to be the main focus of Aston Martin, and the brand could be looking to go even further upmarket to accomplish this. Aston Martin has already unveiled the Lagonda Taraf sedan, which will be limited to exclusive customers in the Middle East, but the brand is also looking to grow in Mexico, South America and Asia.”

2015 Aston Martin

Here is an article concerning the minor changes made….

“What is there to say about the 2015 Aston Martin Vanquish that hasn’t already been said? This mildly tweaked version has gained a couple of transmission ratios and some revised damper settings, and there are some natty new color options to pick from, too. But otherwise it remains as before, the ultimate expression of what we’ll call Aston’s “Dr. Bez Era.” And while the most expensive Aston coupe has many admirable qualities,”
